We love this recipe! It's simple and delicious.
- 150g white chocolate
- 1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
- 1 pack of 325g ready-roll puff pastry
- icing sugar for sprinkling
Step 1. Melt chocolate & pre-heat the oven
Melt 150 g white chocolate. This is an easy way to melt chocolate. Break it up into little pieces into a heatproof bowl and place over a pan of barely simmering water. Stir occasionally, allowing the chocolate to melt. Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C fan / gas.
Step 2. Spread
Unravel your puff pastry sheet and spread the melted chocolate onto the top evenly.
Step 3. Here comes the Matcha
Sprinkle a teaspoon of Matcha Green Tea Powder onto the white chocolate, then mix. Look how green it is!
Step 4. Roll
Starting from one of the long edges, roll the pastry as tightly as possible to the centre. Repeat from the other side.
Step 5. Cook & cool
Bake for 10 minutes and then cool on a baking tray. Afterwards, sprinkle with icing sugar.
Step 6. Enjoy!
