I love the bold, smooth taste of this matcha! I prefer stronger matchas with nutty notes and this did NOT disappoint! The flavor is rich, slightly nutty, and well rounded. It holds up very well in a latte but tastes good as usucha as well. This has a great balance of rich, slightly punchy, matcha flavor, bitterness, and umami. This has to be one of my favorite matchas that I've tried this year. I definitely plan to repurchase. The color is a beautiful bright green. The texture is very nice and smooth and it sifted and whisked up beautifully. I hope they make a 100g bag!
I have tried other hojicha from Amazon and nothing compares to the hojicha from Midori Spring!!! The flavor is PERFECT!! Gives me energy throughout the afternoon and amazing calming effect in the evenings!
I love the way this matcha combines with honey added as a latte. My favorite way to prepare it is an Oolong Matcha Latte where you add oolong tea to the milk of the latte. Overall a great, high quality matcha!

Bold, nutty, and slightly earthy matcha that reflects in the scent and taste. A lot of matcha powders lose their oomph when paired with milk in a latte, but this one holds its flavor well to me. I really enjoy it and it is my favorite Midori Spring matcha. Will be purchasing again. Please make a 100g size!
